Wellness for all, naturally

Azalea Park, Acupuncture and Eddie Green & The Puppet Divas

Last night we went to a great party in Azalea park, a community in City Heights that does some really great stuff around the neighborhood.  That day, before the party, 550 people showed up to help paint, clean and otherwise improve the neighborhood.

That night, Eddie Green and his Puppet Divas hosted their annual Halloween variety show.  They have been doing this for the last 14 – 15 years and it is quite a production.  Also performing last night was Sustain Community Acupuncture’s own Dia Wong.  She and her band, the Emerald City Rockers, performed an acoustic set and then rocked out with several originals and a cover of AC/DC that got the whole place jumping.

I personally ate a chocolate lava cup cake and offered to help cure Zombie-ism in some of the afflicted in the crowd.  Maybe I’ll make the exception and offer house calls to these poor souls as zombies do tend to smell and eat the brains of our other patients.

All kidding aside though Eddie let us get up and talk with everyone for a minute about our acupuncture model and the low cost medicine we offer to Hillcrest, North park and San Diego. It was very well received and when I came in on Monday there were several calls from people we met at the party.

Take Care
